| Biography |
was a one man project started in 2003, but not fully formulated until 2005. the Sanguis demo was created as a compilation from various demo tapes made with a 4-track, released in the summer of 2005. in 2006 the addition of Astaroth on rhythm guitars in march, and then friend Rigor Mortis came in on drums during the summer, by then learning how to drum since there was a lack of a drummers into extreme metal in the area. The band started playing shows around western Washington in the summer of 2007 after coming up with a set list, containing some old Drakul songs that were unreleased at the time, and some songs by Astaroth or co-written with him, until November 2007, took a rest period, and played 2 shows in January 08, and one in February. In January, they also released finally Northwestern Darkness, the process taking almost 2 years. Drakul are taking a break from shows until June, writing all new material for a concept album. Drakul are also trying out bass players, to make the band a quartet in it's 3rd year of existence. Check the myspace ("website" link on this page) to hear some tracks off of Northwestern Darkness. A crude promo cassette tape idea is also in the works before releasing the next demo.
The songs featured on this site is the entire Sanguis demo as it was released in 2005, and is only available here, get it before it's taken off. |
