The four tracks above were created by Wraipe, one sole electric guitar, one sole acoustic guitar with everything amped and miced.
I (Aurora) locked Wraipe in "The Chamber Sigh" with plenty of wine, spirits, knives, etc. 24 hours later, after no food, no contact and no escape, I had the chance to re-greet Wraipe and talk through with him.
Post-recording, Wraipe was a mess. Mute, mainly. We, together, decided that such a personal and emotive release should never be see the light of day, but days passed and as we replayed the recordings, we noticed that we had captured a unique and previously un-achieved atmosphere. Wraipe was the one to decide he wanted to put this to the Wraipe Aurora name and make it available.
The first side (4 tracks of which are featured here) is the more melancholic, atmospheric side to recordings that took place. The second side represents the hell within escaping. A total annihilation of self-will through ritualistic noise and occult ambience channelled through voice and guitar, yet retaining a similar vibe to the first half, with more vocals.
No names have been given to these tracks yet, but when Wraipe fully recovers, he intends to name and state the cause/reaction of each track.
