[AryadevA is not part of the NSBM scene nor do they agree/share on such/similar pathetic ideology]
AryadevA is made up of members of Indian and Slavic (Indo-Slavic) origins. The Vedic culture and Slavonic Paganism has many similarities and it probably originated from a common root. Therefore the band describes the music they play as Slavo-Vedic Black Metal.
In general, AryadevAs music is composed of typical black metal riffs along with some death metal influences. Folk and symphony elements are clearly present along with typically styled black metal vocals. Sanskrit chants and terminology is widely used.
AryadevA started off as a 3-piece pagan black metal band; they released the "Demo 2004 - Invoking The Ancient Forces" which featured 6 tracks of Slavo-Vedic Black Metal assaults.
In September 2005, 2 members from Asfeactor (Simferopol, technical death metal) joined in the ranks of AryadevA.
Currently the band is recording their upcoming 2006 promo album. A pre-Promo 2006 track is available for download. |
